Little Art Bear

Only art penetrates what pride, passion, intelligence and habit erect on all sides – the seeming realities of this world. There is another reality, the genuine one, which we lose sight of. This other reality is always sending us hints, which without art, we can’t receive. Proust calls these hints our “true impressions.” The true impressions, our persistent intuitions, will, without art, be hidden from us and we will be left with nothing but a ‘terminology for practical ends’ which we falsely call life.

Saul Bellow, Author / Nobel Laureate

There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns.

Albert Einstein, Physicist / Scientist

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.

Albert Einstein, Physicist / Scientist

At the deepest level, the creative process and the healing process arise from a single source. When you are an artist, you are a healer; a wordless trust of the same mystery is the foundation of your work and its integrity.

Mary Lou Cook, Actress

If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him… We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda; it is a form of truth.

John F. Kennedy, Former U.S. President

Principles for the Development of a Complete Mind: Study the science of art. Study the art of science. Develop your senses – especially learn how to see. Realise that everything connects to everything else.

  • ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY

At Little Art Lab, we make art the fun way, like how it should be. We don’t just copy photos or existing artwork in our classes. Each project allows creativity and we respect individual style and ideas. We encourage trial-and-error in the process and learn to problem-solve.
  • AGE-APPRORIATE PROGRAM

We understand the developmental stages in children’s drawing. Our program allows the students to learn something new while being able to complete each piece of art with confidence. We don’t believe in forcing kids into techniques that they are not ready yet.
  • EXPLORE DIFFERENT MEDIA

Making art is more than drawing pretty pictures. It is so much fun to make a mess with paint, mould your own sculpture, tell a story with drawing, or make beautiful textures with process art. Exposure to different media allows kids to appreciate various styles and find media that best express themselves.
  • SMALL CLASS

We cap our classes at six students to give each child enough attention. Each child learns differently and our feedback provides communication with the parents/caregiver to help us better understand the child and guide them towards the right direction.

Little Artist Class

Little Artist promotes creativity and self-expression. We provide guidance along the way, helping students explore their ideas through different techniques and media. Students will learn to use different equipment in their painting, drawing, and craft activities. The practical skills give students confidence in expressing their thoughts and to communicate effectively. The course will also expand the students’ knowledge of the art world.
